As a result of central government spending cuts Worthing Theatres are being threatened with closure. We understand that nothing has yet been finalised, but prior to any decision being made, we are looking to rally your support.
The theatres are critical to the local economy and are a big part of Worthing’s heritage.
It is up to us to ensure that Worthing remains a vibrant and entertaining town in which to live. It is hoped that by demonstrating overwhelming support, the council will listen to public opinion and keep the theatres open. Once the theatres are gone, it is very unlikely that they will ever be re-instated.
Please help to save your local theatres by adding your name to the petition.
Thank you for your support.
